Wellbeing AND MENTAL HEALTH At All SAints'

At All Saints', we follow the All Saints’ Way to Discover God, Learn Together, and Achieve Our Best. We believe that nurturing wellbeing is essential for every child to flourish both academically and personally.

Our community is built on the Christian values of Curiosity, Respect, Kindness, Courageous Determination, and Joyfulness, which help us create a supportive and caring environment where every child feels safe and valued.

Guided by the promise from the Lord,
“I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you,” (Psalm 32:8),
we are committed to walking alongside our students, supporting their wellbeing and helping them grow in confidence, resilience, and faith.

We are an ELSA School!

We are very proud that we have an ELSA - Emotional Literacy Support Assistant at All Saints'.  Miss Daley is highly skilled at supporting the wellbeing of all our children, famlilies and staff.

We Have a Educational Mental Health Practitioner based in School one day a week!

All Saints' C of E Primary  has an allocated Education Mental Health Practitioner, Hannah is in school on Thursdays. Hannah works for Stockport Mental Health Support Team (MHST), which is a service designed to meet children's emerging mental health & wellbeing difficulties, within education settings. At All Saints', our aim is to find the earliest and most effective way to help children be the best they can be - whether that’s working with children, or parent/carers directly, offering whole school approach activities such as assemblies, classroom workshops, parent/carer coffee mornings and more.

Think your child might need some support?
Hannah can offer child and parent-led interventions using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)-informed approaches - practical tools that help children and parents/carers understand and manage the child’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. These brief, evidence-based interventions support children experiencing anxiety, worry and behavioural challenges.

A quick note from Stockport MHST:
We’re here to help children and families learn about their emotions, build their confidence, and develop healthy coping skills early on - so they’re better prepared for life’s ups and downs.
If you feel your child would benefit from this type of support, please speak to any member of school staff who will sign post this to Hannah.
